So these models based on SM2258XT will not be supported on UDMA / Express cards?

Hello MasterT.

No, they would be supported by UDMA and Express too as soon as full release of PC-3000 6.8x will be availiable.
Users with Portable III devices are able to work with BETA version, that's why they can get this feature a bit earlier than other customers.

SM2258XT belongs to SATA SSDs, so there is no limitations in UDMA and Express.

FYI, I can confirm that it works. Stupid simple. I'd love to say fast, but being limited to reading in DE no faster than 2MBps, it is what it is.

Any timeline on this? I've got an urgent case here with this controller. Can we get a beta version on the Express card to use?
