Bitlocker problem

Postby MasterT » 19.08.21, 11:55

I have a drive with BitLocker partition that can decrypt.

But i have the following problem:

1.png
1.png (55.07 KiB) Viewed 223 times

If i try to image selected files and folders, I can see the usual menu of "Make copy of object data" is missing.

Is there another way to image required data?

PS.: I did not have many BitLocker drives, but as far as I can remember I did not have this problem before.

Second problem:

There are certain sectors in BitLocker partition that are RED and say "Sector was not read because of readiness loss"

First of all there is no readiness loss, and second you can clearly see sector was read.

Now what could be the problem? Sector was not decrypted OK? Is that what does actually mean?

Go to the checkered drop down (2 to the right of where you are).
Click 'create submap using drive info' - SELECT THIS TWICE.
You should then be able to image the chains.

You might want to refresh the stats map.
Maybe just a glitch.
What happens if you make a submap, are they still there.

Thank you. It worked like a charm.
