Maybe tell a little more about the drive, why you want to "short" it.
How is the drive behaving, any hints in terminal, what happened and what has been done ?

Have done many Rosewood drives but never had the need to "short" any.

The drive giving clicking noise and not getting out of BSY state.

This short connection doesn't make any sense! T can be obtained directly.

Just want to add to this, I myself have shorted a few Rosewoods and had good results - again the key is making sense of what is happening in terminal and of course when to do it.

I agree with digitalsupport - you shouldn't need to short any if the heads are good, but in a few cases it is needed

share terminal log, may be it is not necessary to short read channels at all !
