These are the modules I used for smart swap on a Samsung HM160HX using a HM160HI as donor...

i wrote all modules from patient to donor , after power off/on it didn't enter ready state , is that ok ?
how can i write donor original modules from my back up files to the donor ( that my donor become operable ) ?
need urgent help pls

What about the Model HD322Gj is a F4 family. It works the hot swap too? Idid not see the name model in the list, thank you!

Hello, I am trying to do a hotswap with Samsung HD103SI-1AG01118 (1TB, F2_EG family).

Which FW modules do I need to transfer to donor drive?

I am new to samsung FW so what I figured out so far is:

06 CONFIG
0D GEO_TBL
11 SLIST
12 TLIST
13 ALIST
17 SRVTBL2
6F VFY_PATT
71 SCT_DATA

Hi, I have an older 2.5" Samsung IDE 120GB IDE drive,
model HM120JC to be exact, from the M60(S) family.

I do not know which modules list to use.

The 2nd and 3rd group module numbers are all different.

The first group (5 modules) I have the last 4, but 'UNITABLE' does not exist.

Halfway through, when reading modules from Patient, all but one read okay
except #69 - ALISTHDR - has error read from head 0 and head 1 and composite.


Any advice?


1 hour later...Okay it's just Sad when people answer their own questions...but
I did some digging around on this website, and so replacing all modules except
Overlay module did it!

I am one happy camper...

M8E (from memory) you need to write all Ad and Ad modules to donor, but its important to write to all copies

What is wrong with your M8E, maybe hotswap is not needed?

BSIT, If we don't know which modules are necessary for Hot-swap, we must move all modules except the overlays.
